HATHA YOGA

When people talk about yoga these days, they usually mean Hatha Yoga, the physical aspect of yoga – at least in the West. We also teach Hatha Yoga in various styles: Meridian Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, traditional Hatha Yoga, and hybrid forms.
The physical exercises are a gateway to our inner selves and to deeper layers of our being.

Yoga means coming into deep contact with yourself.
Yoga is awareness, becoming aware through awareness. And much of this happens through the breath, when we allow ourselves to be touched by the breath and let go in the breath. Releasing tension and, subsequently, letting go of constraints.

 

FLOW YOGA

A unique feature of Vinyasa Flow Yoga is the Vinyasas: movement sequences synchronized with the breath, where each pose flows smoothly into the next. It’s a dynamic style that is creative, dance-like, and powerful all at once. This dynamism stimulates the flow of energy in the body. It demands and enhances concentration, as the mind constantly follows movement and breath. Static elements are also incorporated throughout – to allow for moments of stillness, as well as for posture correction and muscle strengthening.

We offer yoga classes as private individual or group sessions (60 or 90 minutes), as well as open group classes with drop-in availability.
