PASSION FOR MOVEMENT

Movement and sport have inspired and accompanied me my entire life. At the age of six, I discovered my love for horses and a passion that stayed with me for the next 15 years: vaulting. Competitive sports taught me a great deal about the body and mind – experiences I now use in my work with people.

Today, in my free time, I’m drawn primarily to the mountains: for sport and alpine climbing, mountaineering, hiking, mountain biking, and running. Regarding sports, I should also mention the two and a half years I dedicated to roller derby: Together with my team, Vienna Roller Derby, I traveled to numerous competitions across Europe for this team sport played on quad roller skates.

EDUCATION

After completing my university studies in sports science and exercise therapy, it was, in addition to my fascination with movement, primarily the desire to better understand what it means to be human that led me to train as a yoga teacher with Sonja Rosa Rössler. This path eventually led me to Thai massage, specifically FLOW-NUAD according to Veni I. Labi.

After my studies, I worked as an exercise therapist in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation centers. Later, Andre and I founded our own practice in Vienna.

Since January 2022, we – Andre, our daughter Émilie, and I – have been living on the island of Vis. Our company, Vital Vis d.o.o., is based here.
